On-Boarding Coaching
An executive coaching engagement established to facilitate the acclimation and accelerate the development of a new employee.
Seymour Adler, SVP AON Consulting defined it best when he said “So what we are dealing with here is the challenge of on-boarding unique and expensive talent, with a large up-front investment and a long time needed to recoup that investment.” The beginning days of someone’s tenure with a company is spent absorbing resources. The question is how quickly and when do they start producing a positive return on investment.
On-boarding coaching is a specific type of coaching engagement that works to align the performance objective expectations of the manager and those of the new hire. It establishes a written plan that clearly spells out roles and responsibilities. On-board coaching identifies key stakeholders and assists in the development of internal networks critical to success.
Advanced Executive Management Skills (AEMS)
AEMS is a progressive six-month program designed to introduce, develop and reinforce new behaviors and skills resulting in improved effectiveness, productivity and job satisfaction. AEMS is based on industry best practices, company critical success factors, and Advance Leadership Development developed core competency models. The program is module based and is delivered in a specific sequence and at timed intervals. This program works well as a stand-alone development program or as a component of our client’s existing structured corporate training initiatives.
Accelerated Group Development
Accelerated Group Development is a twelve-week facilitated group coaching initiative. This program creates behaviors and develops self-sustaining techniques that allow your staff to deliver the highest capabilities of their department to the organization.
The program consists of group coaching sessions (for up to 6 participants) to discuss real-time events and opportunities, provide new behaviors and techniques for these situations, and assist in implementing and reinforcing these new behaviors and techniques.
On-Boarding Mentoring Program (OBM)
Advance Leadership Development’s On-Boarding Mentoring Program is designed to support talent/succession management strategies by:
- Ensuring there is alignment between new executives/ senior managers and their managers regarding personal development, and
- Ensuring that efforts to recruit high potential talent continue through a measured process design to aid in retaining that talent.
OBM program was developed to facilitate and help accelerate the assimilation of high potential talent into an organization. The program establishes a structured yet flexible relationship between a new employee (protégé) and a mentor to assist the new employee with learning and understanding the corporate culture, learning how to navigate and network within the organization, and understanding critical processes and the tools that will help them with their work. The program will encourage communication and interaction between employees providing the opportunity to share organizational knowledge and experience. The desired outcome is to develop a larger pool of high potential future leaders, and foster a learning culture.
